  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper Freshly cracked.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley Finely chopped for garnish.

Method

Preparation

  2. In a bowl, mix the dark brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the pork chops, ensuring they are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
  3. Add melted butter and apple cider vinegar to the skillet, spooning the mixture over the chops.
  4. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Timing is everything: Don’t rush the searing; give it time to develop that crust! Always rest your chops after baking! This allows the juices to redistribute for optimal tenderness. Got leftovers? Store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
