Ingredients

Lobster Tails
  • 4 pieces lobster tails fresh or thawed
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish paprika optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). If your oven tends to run hot, lower it to 400°F.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, then gently pull apart to expose the meat.
  3. Lift the meat over the shell while keeping it attached at the base.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  5. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
Cooking
  1. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the meat is opaque and the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
  2. Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, and garnish with parsley and paprika before serving.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently to retain butteriness. Consider pairing with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a delightful meal.
