Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (optional) Adds creaminess to the dish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, diced potatoes, shredded cheese, and seasonings.
  4. If using, stir in the cream of mushroom soup to add creaminess.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and cover with foil.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  2. Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking to allow the cheese to become golden and bubbling.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy your comforting meal!

Notes

For extra flavor, don’t rush the browning process. You can customize by swapping meats or adding vegetables.
