Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces bone-in or boneless pork chops (~6 oz each) About 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter For searing the chops
  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard For the glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey For the glaze
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard Optional, for texture
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice For acidity in the glaze
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and black pepper For seasoning
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped Optional for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, whole grain mustard, garlic, vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and lightly season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour the honey mustard sauce over the pork chops. Simmer 5–7 minutes, turning once, until the chops are cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Remove pork from skillet and let rest for 3 minutes. Spoon sauce over the top, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
