  • 1/2 cup chia seeds Soak to create a gel-like consistency.

Method

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Get that warmth going!
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and water. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to soften.
  3. Soak the chia seeds in a separate bowl for about 10 minutes until they form a gel-like consistency.
  4. Stir the chia gel, salt, and baking powder into the oats until it’s well mixed.
  5. If you’re feeling fancy, sprinkle some optional seeds on top for extra crunch!
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan. Smooth out the top for a nice finish.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Store Oat and Chia Bread in an airtight container for about 3-5 days in the fridge. Slice and freeze for later use. Experiment with toppings like sunflower seeds or herbs for different flavors.
