Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cans canned peaches (in syrup or juice) Using canned peaches provides great off-season flavor.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk Full-fat for richer batter is recommended.
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted) Unsalted butter helps control salt.
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
For Serving
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Stir in the milk and melted butter until everything's just combined (don't overdo it!).

  1. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Letting the cobbler cool for a few minutes before serving will enhance the texture and flavor.
