Filling
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 4 pieces mozzarella string cheese sticks (cut in half lengthwise)
Seasoning & Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce (optional, for rolling) Optional but recommended for extra flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted) Enhances flavor and browning.
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping) Optional for additional flavor.
  • Extra pizza or marinara sauce (for dipping) Serve alongside for dipping.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles along the perforated lines.
  3. (Optional) Spread a small amount (about ½ teaspoon) of pizza sauce over each triangle.
  4. Layer 3 slices of pepperoni on the wide end of each triangle. Place one half of a string cheese stick on top of the pepperoni.
  5. Roll up the crescent dough from the wide end toward the point, encasing the filling. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan if using.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Serve warm with pizza or marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

These rolls store well in the fridge for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months. For reheating, use the oven for best texture.
