  • 2 cups Cool Whip (whipped topping) Can swap for homemade whipped cream.
  • to taste powdered sugar Optional for dusting.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions and pour it into a greased sheet pan.
  3. Bake as directed on the box until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely.
Assembly
  1. Once cool, spread a layer of Cool Whip on top of the cake.
  2. Arrange the sliced strawberries evenly over the Cool Whip.
  3. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  4. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, fold in mini chocolate chips into the Cool Whip. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for later.
